About Dr. Katz

Jamie N. Katz, PsyD

Dr. Jamie Katz is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist based in Scottsdale. She graduated with a doctoral degree from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology- Washington DC in 2019. She completed her Doctoral

Internship and Post-Doctoral Residency with Southwest Behavioral & Health Services (SB&H), providing individual, family and group therapy to children, and adolescents. Dr. Katz also had the pleasure of supervising Psychology Doctoral Interns through SB&H's Doctoral Training Program (2020-2022).


Her previous experiences include providing clinical services in an alternative school for children with emotional and behavioral challenges. In addition, she has provided individual and group therapy in an inpatient substance abuse setting, and has provided individual therapy and neuropsychological evaluations in a private practice setting.


Currently, Dr. Katz enjoys providing psychotherapy to her clients while also providing clinical supervision.

Luna Yono

Luna Yono is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) based in Scottsdale. She graduated with a Master’s degree in Social Work from Arizona State University in 2023 and with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2021. During her graduate program, she completed internship placements working in both a community mental health and private practice setting. Luna is trained in EMDR and has experience working with Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Parts work, mindfulness, and Kristin Neff’s model of self-compassion. Her work has focused on providing individual and group therapy to adolescents and adults, specializing in working with LGBTQ+ populations.


Luna’s work focuses on struggles with:

  • self-esteem

  • emotional abuse

  • family trauma

  • depression

  • anxiety

  • LGBTQ+ issues

She utilizes an eclectic, holistic approach to therapy that focuses on healing the whole self; their mind, body and spirit. Luna’s approach to therapy is rooted in collaborating with clients through a compassionate lens to assist them along their journey of healing and self-discovery. Luna believes that every person has the potential to achieve personal joy and live a peaceful existence.

Arthi Vasudevan

Exceeding Expectations One Patient at a Time

Arthi Vasudevan graduated with a double degree in psychology and child learning and development from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2021. Throughout her undergraduate education, she worked with children and adolescents in hospital and school settings, which showed her the value of utilizing play therapy to enhance health and happiness in children and adolescents. Arthi is currently a clinical psychology doctoral student at Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ. She believes that empowerment is an integral part of the therapeutic process and hopes to walk alongside her clients as they work towards their goals. She is passionate about advocating for historically underrepresented groups and hopes to create a safe therapeutic space in which clients of all backgrounds feel comfortable discussing their identities. As a South Asian student clinician, Arthi hopes to destigmatize mental health struggles within the South Asian community and make psychological resources more accessible to people of diverse backgrounds.

About Dr. Puff

Dr. Alaina Puff, PhD is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist and Postdoctoral Resident at Katz Psychological Services while pursuing her license as a psychologist. Dr. Puff has clinical experience providing individual, group, and family psychotherapy, with a specific focus on children and adolescents. She also has experience working with anxiety, depression, trauma, and attention/executive functioning difficulties. Dr. Puff’s approach to therapy is rooted in walking alongside client’s and their families to help them achieve their desired goals, with a sense of authenticity, warmth, and compassion.


Dr. Puff earned her doctorate degree in School Psychology from the University of Arizona. She completed her APA accredited predoctoral internship with Southwest Behavioral Health Services in Phoenix, Arizona in the School and Community Counseling Services Program. Dr. Puff’s research and authorship focuses on the advocacy and implementation of social justice principles in the public education system and the distinguishable role school psychologists serve in this process.


Prior to obtaining her doctoral degree, Dr. Puff earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Education from Bucknell University and her educational specialist degree in School Psychology from The Ohio State University. She practiced several years as a school psychologist where she provided comprehensive psychological services to students in K-12 schools. In her current practice, Dr. Puff is passionate about advocating for children’s educational interests and partnering with families to obtain school-based supports.
